1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using any page in the Civil & Construction Engineering Toolkit ("the Toolkit"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Toolkit.
2. What the Toolkit is
The Toolkit is a set of standalone web pages that perform construction, MEP, finishes, structural, and survey-related calculations for estimating and planning purposes. Each tool runs entirely in your browser; no project data is transmitted to or stored on a server.
3. Permitted use
You may use the Toolkit for personal, educational, or commercial estimating work. You may print, copy, or export results generated by the tools for your own projects and reports.
4. No professional relationship
Use of the Toolkit does not create an engineer-client, contractor-client, or any other professional relationship between you and the Toolkit's authors. The Toolkit does not review, seal, or certify any output.
5. Accuracy of results
- Calculations are based on published reference methods, including the Fajardo Method and the National Structural Code of the Philippines (NSCP), as interpreted at the time each tool was built.
- Material prices, code provisions, and local requirements change over time and by location. Figures shown may not reflect current conditions.
- You are responsible for independently verifying all quantities, costs, and calculations before relying on them.
6. No warranty
The Toolkit is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the authors of the Toolkit are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including cost overruns, construction defects, delays, or safety incidents — arising from use of, or inability to use, the Toolkit.
8. Changes to the Toolkit or these terms
Tools may be added, modified, or removed at any time. These terms may be updated periodically; continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Toolkit is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
