1. Overview
This Toolkit is built to run entirely client-side. This policy explains what that means in practice, and what limited data is collected around the edges of that design.
2. Project data you enter
- Dimensions, quantities, unit prices, and any other figures you type into a calculator stay in your browser's memory for that page session.
- Nothing you enter into a tool is sent to, or stored on, our servers. Closing or refreshing the tab clears it.
- If a tool offers a print or export feature, the resulting file is generated locally by your browser.
3. Standard web logs
Like most websites, the server or hosting platform that delivers these pages may automatically log standard technical information — such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages requested — for security and reliability purposes. This information is not linked to any project data you enter.
4. Cookies and local storage
The Toolkit does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. Some tools may use your browser's local storage purely to remember display preferences (such as units) on your own device; this data never leaves your browser.
5. Third-party fonts
Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. Loading a font from Google's servers may expose your IP address to Google under its own privacy practices, independent of this Toolkit.
6. No accounts, no sale of data
There are no user accounts, sign-ups, or logins anywhere in the Toolkit. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data, because we do not collect any beyond the standard web logs described above.
7. Children's privacy
The Toolkit is intended for engineering, construction, and educational use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as tools are added or hosting changes. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
